Sandy’s found a new friend

Cyclones: On Sunday night, the Cyclones introduced a new mascot — Pee Wee — a slimmed-down version of Sandy the Seagull who was hatched from an egg found by Sandy earlier this year. Comment.

Distribution: from hand-to-hand to boxes

Novelist Amy Herrick will read from her new book, "The Happiness Code" (Viking, $24.95), about a Brooklyn family that discovers a baby on their doorstep, on July 6 at 3 pm at Sunny’s bar in Red Hook. Comment.
