When I mentioned Palmira’s to friends each
said, "Oh, I know that place. But I’ve never gone in."
When I asked why, they all had a variation on "I didn’t
know if it was a restaurant, a club or a pizza place."

Cannes, France - In addition to the filmmakers,
the deal-makers, and the glitz and glamour of the annual Cannes
Film Festival, there are also film curators whose work consists
of seeing as many films as possible. One such attendee at this

for BAM’s Rose Cinemas and BAMCinematek.

this venerable theatrical institution has been presenting not
only Moliere but also the entire repertoire of classical French
drama since 1681 when Louis XIV merged Moliere’s acting company
with several rival companies.
