’Strides’ right
Sunday, October 21: Last year, over 10,000 people participated in the American Cancer Society’s “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” walk in Prospect Park, an event that raised $750,000. Join this year’s walk, which begins at the band shell and goes about 3.4 miles, and help them break last year’s record.

Suzuki rides again
Tuesday, October 23: Tonight, Williamsburg’s Monkey Town, welcomes Damo Suzuki, formerly of 1970s German rock band Can, and his all-star band (featuring members of Gang Gang Dance and Psychic Ills). It’s a rare chance to catch an intimate show with this avant-garde rock legend.
