Long call

A quick-moving thief swiped thousands of dollars worth of phone cards from a car on Fifth Avenue on Nov. 1.

The 52-year-old victim told cops that he was driving near Bergen Street at 4:25 pm when he suffered a flat tire. He pulled over and made the repair only to notice that someone had swiped package of prepaid phone cards worth $27,600.

A nearby coffee shop security camera caught a blurry image of the thief in action.
