Marauder, striking in Slope, grabs gal’s purse

del.icio.usA bad-ass perp jumped out of his 27-year-old maroon Plymouth to grab a woman’s purse on 14th Street on March 6 before hopping back into the classic wheels and driving off.
The 38-year-old victim told cops that she was on the block between Sixth and Seventh avenues at around 8:30 pm when the old car pulled up and the driver leaped out and grabbed her handbag.
The woman, a well-known go-getter at PS 107, put up a fight, but the 6-foot perp was too much for her, snatching the bag and pushing his victim to the ground.
The victim told cops that she lost $85, and various credit cards.
Bad workout
A thief took advantage of a gym rat’s routine, breaking into his locker at a Ninth Street fitness club on March 1, and ringing up almost $5,000 on his stolen credit cards, cops said.
The 39-year-old exercise buff told cops he was sweating at the club, at the corner of Fifth Avenue, at 8:30 am, before discovering that his locker had been infiltrated.
Horse thief
A thief removed a metal cash box from a coffee bar on Sixth Avenue on March 6 and took a cash-filled box.
The owner of the café, at the corner of 12th Street, told cops the thief entered sometime after 11 pm, but before the first workers showed up at 4:30 am the next day.
Rent rage
A con woman posing as a landlord stole $3,000 from a would-be tenant by disappearing with her security deposit, from a building at Union and Sackett streets.
Wheely bad
At least three cars were stolen off neighborhood streets last week, cops said:
• A 2000 Honda Civic, from Sterling Place between Seventh and Flatbush avenues, where it was parked at 11 pm on March 3.
• A Chevy Blazer on Fifth Avenue on March 6 from near the corner of President Street.
• An Econoline van from 10th Street, between Second and Third avenues, where it was parked at 7:30 am on March 3.
