A thief snatched a purse from the lobby of a Vanderbilt Avenue nightclub on June 8.
The 40-year-old victim told cops that she had left her bag on a couch in the lounge area of the building, which is between St. Marks Avenue and Prospect Place, at about 10 pm. She left the room for about 10 minutes, and when she returned, her pocketbook was gone.
The perp got credit cards and a cellphone.
A thief broke into car parked on Underhill Avenue on June 3 and got a nifty guitar.
The 25-year-old owner of the car told cops that he had last checked on his 1995 Nissan Pathfinder, which he left at the corner of Sterling Place, on May 31. When he went to use the car a few days later, the driver’s-side lock had been broken and the guitar was missing.
