Money grab

Robbers nabbed over $3,500 in money orders from a vehicle parked in a W. 21st Street parking lot on July 3. 

The victim told police she found the raider sitting in her driver’s seat of her car in the parking lot between Surf Avenue and Riegelmann Boardwalk at around 8:45 am, and later found the money missing.

Gift heist

A freebooter broke into a Shore Parkway home and forced the resident to send money and gift cards to his cellphone number on July 2. 

The victim told police the bandit displayed a badge inside the home between Ocean Parkway and Brighton Third Street at around 2 am and forced him to transfer nearly $20,000 in untraceable cards.

No-playground

Highway robbers mugged a man at a Bay 44th Street playground on July 5. 

The victim told police that the brigand brandished a knife at the park between Shore Parkway and Cropsey Avenues at around 9 am and snagged $100 and the victim’s cellphone.
