Stairway slasher
A brute stabbed and slashed a man with a kitchen knife at a Surf Avenue apartment building on Dec. 25.
The victim told police that the busier stabbed him in the chest in the stairwell of the building between W. 20th and W. 21st streets at around 5:40 am, but and refused to tell police how the confrontation began.
Basement blues
A home invader snagged electronics from a Brighton 13th Street apartment on Dec. 23.
The victim told police that the thief grabbed her iPod, Samsung G7, and money from her home between Brighton Beach and Ocean View avenues at around 9:40 am, before fleeing through the front door.
Jackpot
A pirate stole a black satchel with $20,000 from a car parked on Cropsey Avenue on Dec. 23.
The victim told police that he heard the alarm sound from his vehicle in the parking lot between Bay 53rd Street and Hart Place at around 3:45 pm and returned to find the bag missing.
Burberry Burglary
A rustler stole $8,300 worth of merchandise after cutting open the canvas roof of a vehicle on W. 35th Street on Dec. 24.
The victim told police that he returned to his car between Surf and Mermaid avenues at around 6 pm and noticed his Burberry bag and Burberry sports coats missing.
