Mermaid pilfer
Beer fiending bandits snagged two cases of Mermaid Pilsner from a Surf Avenue brewery on Jan. 24.
An employee told police the crooks broke into the storage space at the brewery between W. 16th and W. 21st streets through a wall around 3:30 am causing $250 worth of damage.
Pod sale
Three gun-wielding dirtbags stole Airpods and an iPhone from a teenager during a botched sale at a W. 25th Street housing complex on Jan. 26.
The victim told police that he was attempting to sell the Airpods outside of the apartments between Mermaid and Surf avenues at around 5:30 pm, when they waved a firearm and attacked the victim.
