A thief stole electronics and game consoles from an apartment on W. 30 Street on Feb. 11.
The victim told police that when she returned to her apartment between Mermaid and Surf avenues around 11 am, the room was a mess and her Wii and Playstation 4 were missing.
Social Security scammer
A fraudster conned a victim out of thousands of dollars on Feb. 10.
The victim told police that the charlatan called him at around 11 am, and told him that he would be arrested if he did not send $10,000 to a Walgreens in California in order to open a new Social Security account — which the victim did.
Prime Target
A looter stole a wallet from a Neptune Avenue woman on Feb. 12.
The victim told police that she was in her home between West 37th and West 33rd streets at around 11 am when she received a notification that the raider used her debit card to spend $9.17 at a Target store.
