Peek-a-boo

Dog snatchers broke into a Hart Place breeder and stole a Pekapoo puppy on June 24. 

The victim told police that the punks smashed through the glass door of the shop between Cropsey Avenue and W. 16th Street at around 9 am and snatched the $5,000 designer dog. 

Masked Bandits

Freebooters snagged a box of 2,400 masks from an unattended car in a W. Fifth Street parking lot on June 20. 

The victim told police the thieves broke into the car’s trunk parked between Neptune and W. Brighton Avenue at around 3 am and stole the $400 worth of personal protective equipment. 

Home invader

A shoplifter swiped home improvement supplies from a Cropsey Avenue box store on June 25. 

An employee told police that the purloiner passed all points of sale at the store on the intersection of Bay 53rd Street at around 10 am and left in possession of more than $1,000 worth of goods.
