Pirate steals $38,600 worth of gold coins in Brighton Beach

Gold rush

A pirate stole $38,600 worth of gold collectors coin from a Brighton Second Street home on May 19. 

The victim told police that multiple people had access to the home between Brighton Beach Avenue and Brightwater Court at around 7 pm and could have stolen the valuable coins. 

Stealing spree

Bandits broke into several cars parked along Shore Parkway on May 19. 

One of the victims told police that the pirates smashed the windows of the vehicles parked between West Street and Ocean Parkway at around noon and stole money and electronics.

Bike bandit

Thieves stole two bikes from the storage room of a W. 21st Street apartment building on May 19. 

The victim told police that he left his two bikes on the bike rack in the common area of the building at the intersection of Surf Avenue around 11 pm and returned to find them missing.
