Pirates loot $1,200 from Cropsey Avenue gas station

Gas-stole-ine

Punks snagged more than $1,200 from the cash register at a Cropsey Avenue gas station on August 4. 

An employee told police that the burglars broke into the gas station at the intersection of Hart Place through the front door at around 9:15 am while it was unattended, before grabbing the cash and running off.

Double-bike heist

Crooks stole two bikes tied up in a West Street apartment building’s parking lot on August 8.

The victim told police that the knaves cut the locks on the two bikes in the parking lot between Avenue Z and Shore Parkway at around 5 am and took off with the two-wheelers, worth a total of $2,400.

Beach bust

Bandits swiped two beachgoers’ belongings at the Riegelmann Boardwalk East on August 3. 

The victims told police that they went to take a dip in the ocean near Brighton Second Street at around 5 am, but returned to find their stuff had been stolen.
