Family feud turns violent with pine cone attack

Decoration Takedown

A family feud between a brother and sister turned to violence at their W. 29th Street home, when the victim’s brother threw an ornamental pine cone at her head on Jan. 24.  

The argument at her home between Surf Avenue and the Riegelmann Boardwalk at around 10 am resulted in a laceration and swelling to her right eye. 

Citizen Caned

A  bruiser attacked a stranger in front of their Brighton Beach Avenue residence on Jan. 25. 

The attacker, who was caught on film by a security camera at the victim’s residence located between Brighton 5th Street and Brighton 6th Street at around 4 pm, wielded a cane to strike the unsuspecting victim’s left hand.  

Mouth Off

A woman alleges her female acquaintance bit a portion of her bottom lip off at her Neptune Avenue home on Jan. 27. 

The victim told police she and her alleged attacker had gotten into an argument at the home between W 36th Street and W 35th Street at around 8:45 pm before the alleged violence occurred.

A man fell victim to a hack perpetrated by an unknown scammer operating under the aliases $WINBEATZ and BEATZTOWN while at his W. 23rd Street home on Jan 22. 

The emboldened hacker stole $1,082 from the victim residing between W 24th and W 25th Street before depositing the sum into their own account at around 12:45 pm.
