Not so gr-r-reat candy store theft

A not so sweet thief stole $212.84 worth of items from a Coney Island candy store on Jan. 24. 

Police say the perp came into It’s Sugar located off Surf Avenue and stole Frosted Flakes themed socks around 12:34pm. 

A witness attempted to stop the thief but the robber pushed the reporter to the the ground and continued wrestling them on the sidewalk.

Coney Island assaulter 

Some bruiser assaulted a man off of Neptune Avenue on Jan. 25.

The victim told police he got into a verbal dispute with the perp when he displayed a small fire arm and fired two rounds the victim. The bullets stroke the ground making bullet fragments strike the victim’s stomach.

Emergency responders administered aid on the scene.

Brighton Beach Pilferer 

Some punk stole cash and other items from a car near West Brighton Beach Avenue on Jan. 23.

According to police the victim left her car parked and went to work. When she returned she noticed cash, perfumes and other items with an estimated total of $1,000 were gone.
