The smashing pumpkins

Cops cuffed a teenager for allegedly smashing a ceramic pumpkin onto her elderly landlord’s arm on 72nd Street on Oct. 6.

The 77-year-old victim told police that he heard the 17-year-old bickering with her relative inside the apartment by 16th Avenue at around noon, but when he went upstairs to check on the commotion, the girl threw a ceramic pumpkin at him, injuring his arm.

Boiling mad

Police arrested a woman for allegedly throwing boiling water at her relative on 20th Drive on Oct. 11.

The victim told police that he got into an argument with the 23-year-old when the suspect grabbed a pot of boiling water and threw it at his back in their apartment near Cropsey Avenue at 8 pm.

Paramedics rushed the victim to Coney Island Hospital with serious injuries, according to police reports.

Not o-Kay

A pirate stole nearly $35,000 worth of jewelry from Kay Jewelers on Shore Parkway on Oct. 11.

An employee told police that the looter broke a glass display case with a hammer and stole $35,794 worth of jewelry from the store near 24th Avenue at around 4:30 pm, before fleeing in a gray Range Rover.

Punched!

A marauder punched a man in the face during a robbery on Avenue U on Oct. 6.

An employee told police that the good-for-nothing socked him in the face while snagging the items from the discount store between W. Fourth and W. Fifth streets at 8:35 am, before running out empty handed.
