Some jerk got away with goods from a Bensonhurst home off of 21st Avenue on Jan. 9.
The victim told police that she was sleeping in her home when the thief broke in through the window around 9pm. The home invader then grabbed credit cards, insurance information and roughly $7,300 from her bedside before taking off.
Bicycle drive-by
Two assaulters attacked a man and stole his belongings near West 5th Street on Jan. 11.
Police said the victim was walking down the street when the two perpetrators approached him on a bicycle around 11:30pm, stating “Give me your money or I will kill you”. One of the attackers then punched the victim in the head causing lacerations while their partner went into the victims pockets, stealing his cellphone, ID and $200.
The victim was taken to Maimonides Medical Center to be treated for his wounds.
Teen phone snatchers
A couple of thieves robbed a taxi driver near 16th Avenue and 85th Street in Bath Beach on Jan. 10.
Police say two teens hopped in the victims cab before grabbing the victims cell phone out of his hand and running from the car around 12:15 a.m.
