Bad house guest

A couple of thieves allegedly stole items from a woman who let them stay in her home on 65 Street on Sept. 15.

Police say the victim kindly let two people stay in her home overnight. When she returned from a night out, she noticed some electronics, a handbag and luggage were missing, along with the house guest. The stolen property was worth a total of $8,300. 

Shopping spree

Some lawbreaker stole clothes from a store on Bay Parkway on Sept. 16.

Police say the thief browsed the aisles, took a bunch of men’s clothing from the racks and hid the garments in a garbage bag before he left the store at 9:49 a.m.

The alleged shoplifted fled the scene on a CitiBike in an unknown direction.

Rear window ransacker

A punk looted a private home on West 11th Street on Sept. 11. 

The victim told police he got home from work at 8 p.m. and found the rear door and a rear window on the second floor broken in. As he surveyed his house, the victim also noticed his Tesla keycard and U.S. passport were both missing.

Snuck in through the AC

A crook took thousands from an apartment on 82 Street on Sept. 13.

Cops said the lawbreaker shoved an air conditioning unit in the rear window in and slipped through the open window at 11:30 a.m. Once inside, the sneak stole jewelry and $9,000 in cash. 

The thief fled in an unknown direction.

Bench robber

A jerk stole a woman’s purse from a bench at Bensonhurst Park near Bay Parkway and Cropsey Avenue on Sept. 13. 

According to police, the victim left her purse on the bench for about just one or two minutes at 2:30 p.m., and a fast-moving purse-snatched grabbed the bag and ran off with it.
