Brute assaults shopkeeper during botched robbery

A jerk assaulted a shopkeeper after trying to steal from him on Sixth Avenue on Jan. 7.

The victim told police that he caught the pilferer trying to steal a Snapple from his store near 50th Street at 8:30 pm, and when he confronted the goon, the perp struck him in the neck and head. 

Stroller sneak

A thief made off with a high-end baby stroller from a Third Avenue baby store on Jan. 10.

An employee told police that the woman walked into the tot-emporium near 30th Street at 6 pm, before grabbing the $1,050 stroller and running off.

20/20 vision 

A burglar tried to rob a Fifth Avenue glasses store on Jan. 8.

The store owner told police that the weasel used a brick to smash the window of his store near 62nd Street at around 2:30 am and attempted to enter — but the store owner, who was in the back room, chased him off. 

Beer bash

A villian tried to assault another woman with a glass bottle at a Fifth Avenue saloon on Jan. 11.

The victim told cops the assailant chucked a beer bottle at her head inside the bar near 56th Street at 12:50 am, barley missing her head.
