Elder abuse

A bandit swiped $450 from a 79-year-old woman’s pill box on First Street sometime between Nov. 27 and Dec. 2.

The victim told police that the thief nabbed the cash from her apartment in a senior home between Hoyt and Bond streets sometime between 10 am on Nov. 27  and 11 am on Dec. 2. 

Package pilferer

A burglar snatched a package from a Douglass Street stoop sometime between Nov. 26 and 27.

The victim told cops that the looter grabbed the parcel carrying $199 worth of household electronics — such as light switches and appliances — from the stoop between Smith and Court streets between 9 pm on Nov. 26 and 7 am on Nov. 27.

Laptop looter

A thief stole $819 worth of electronics from a car parked on Degraw Street on Nov. 27. 

The looter climbed in through an open window in the car, parked between Hoyt and Smith Street, and snagged a $350 laptop, a $150 backpack, headphones, prescription medications, and other electronics, authorities said. 

Roommate rage

A brute punched his former roommate in the stomach repeatedly on Seabring Street on Nov. 26.

The victim said that his ex-roomie punched him repeatedly in the hands, wrists, and stomach after the two got into an argument between Columbia and Richards streets at 8 pm.
