Purse purloiner

A bandit stole an elderly woman’s purse from a W. Ninth Street food pantry on April 20.

The 76-year-old victim told police that the pirate stole her purse from a shopping cart at the  community center between Henry and Clinton streets at around 11 am.

Violent robbery

Two marauders attacked a man on Columbia Street and stole his phone on April 15.

The victim told police that the two ruffians knocked him to the ground between President and Carroll streets at 3 pm, before punching and kicking him and slashing his face with a sharp object — before snagging his $1200 cellphone, social security card, and two bank cards.

License plate lout

A thief stole a Tennessee license plate from a car parked on Summit Street on April 16. 

The victim told police that the bandit nabbed the Tennessee state plate from his 2014 silver Chevy parked between Hamilton and Columbia streets sometime between 2:30 am and 5 pm.

Bike bandit

A pilferer nabbed a bike from the hallway of a Bond Street building sometime between April 14 and April 15.

The victim told police that the burglar nabbed the bike from the hallway of the multi-family residence between Carroll and President street sometime between 6 pm on April 14 and 3 pm on April 15.
