Underground stabber

Police arrested a man for allegedly stabbing a straphanger in the face at the Jay Street-MetroTech station on Aug. 3.

The victim told police that the suspect allegedly slashed him at the station near Willoughby Street at 3:20 pm.

Cops nabbed the suspect near Fulton and Bridge streets at around 3:30 pm, arresting him on felony assault charges, according to police reports.

Out of order!

Police arrested a suspect for allegedly stealing jewelry from a man at a Schermerhorn Street courthouse on Aug. 8.

The victim told police that he was waiting to see a judge at Smith Street at 11:45 am when the suspect allegedly yanked two rings off his fingers and told him “If you tell anyone, I’m gonna beat you.”

Cops collared the man at the scene for felony robbery charges, according to police reports.

Bad neighbor

Police arrested a man on Aug. 5 for allegedly attacking a his neighbor with a spray can on Schermerhorn Street a month prior.

The victim told police that the suspect allegedly hit her in the neck with the can between Smith and Hoyt streets on July 5 at around 12:52 pm.

Police arrested the suspect at the scene a month later on felony assault charges, according to the police reports.

Scolded!

Police arrested a man for allegedly burning a woman with hot liquid at a Fulton Street hot dog joint on Aug. 5.

The victim told police that she and the alleged attacker were arguing about food near Elm Place at 2:55 pm when the suspect threw the liquid at her, burning her waist and arm.

Cops cuffed the man 20 minutes later on felony assault charges, according to police reports.

Hammered

Some goon hit a man with a hammer repeatedly on Saint Marks Place on Aug. 3.

The victim told police that he got into an argument with the villain about a plastic garbage bag between Third and Fourth avenues at 7 am when the nogoodnik swung the tool at him, striking him in the arm and rib.

Paramedics rushed the victim to Methodist Hospital for treatment, according to police reports.
