Brooklyn Bridge beatdown

A group of women brutally beat another woman in Brooklyn Bridge Park on August 16, police say. 

The victim told cops she was engaged in a dispute with the group near the Furman Street entrance of the park at around 7:50 pm when they began to kick and punch her. The victim suffered a fractured orbital bone and bleeding in her brain, according to the report. 

Needle-less to say 

Cops arrested a man for robbing a Fulton Street Macy’s and threatening its employees on August 18. 

According to the report, when employees confronted the man for shoplifting from the department store near Hoyt Street at around 3:35 pm, he pointed a needle at them and said ‘why don’t you come at me so I can stab you,” and fled. 

Cops caught up with the suspect at around 6:00 pm the same day on Fleet Street near Flatbush Avenue, and booked him for petit larceny, possession of stolen property, and possession of dangerous drugs. 

Bike theft

A heartless sneak stole a delivery worker’s bicycle on Livingston Street on August 21, police say. 

The victim told cops he was delivering food near Hoyt Street when he saw the worm fiddling with the lock of his bike. He tried to stop the thief, but he peddled away with his bike. 

Jewel heist

A cat burglar made off with a woman’s jewels on Sidney Place on August 20, police say. 

The victim told cops she noticed her jewelry box was empty at around 1:00 pm. She then realized a sneak thief had broken in sometime between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm to her house near State Street, and made off with $17,750 in jewels.
