Bodega bust-up

Cops arrested a 63-year-old bodega worker after he allegedly hospitalized a co-worker at a Boerum Hill store on April 27.

According to the 38-year-old victim, he was working the morning shift at the Nevins Street store when his co-worker entered at around 9 a.m. wielding a baseball bat.

“What are you going to do with the bat, are you going to hit me with it?” the victim said before he was struck in the leg. His co-worker then allegedly continued to punch him about the head, before leaving the store.

EMS transferred the victim to Cobble Hill hospital for treatment, while patrolling cops arrested the 63–year-old co-worker a couple of blocks from the bodega.

The woman reported to police that while walking down Bergen Street at approximately 3:20 p.m., she got into a verbal dispute with a stranger – the cause of which was not immediately clear.

The alleged perp then pulled out a knife and slashed the woman’s hand, according to the victim. Cops arrested a 73-year-old man at the scene in connection with the assault.

The 31-year-old victim told cops that his new clubs were dropped off at his Wyckoff Street apartment building at 11:40 a.m. while he was out. He said he texted his landlord to take in the delivery at around noon but someone had already taken them from the stoop.

Cops have yet to identify a suspect, noting that the building had no operational security cameras.
