Take a bit out of crime

Cops arrested a 51-year-old woman for allegedly biting a police officer on Duffield Street on Feb. 8.

The victim told their fellow boys-in-blue that the suspect allegedly chomped them on the hand while attempting to arrest her for a different crime near Willoughby Street at 12:36 pm. 

Paramedics took the injured officer to Cobble Hill Hospital, while cops booked the woman and charged her with assaulting a police officer, according to police reports.

Bad valentines 

Two goons beat and pistol-whipped a man on Willoughby Street on Feb. 14.

The victim told police that the two criminals approached him and attempted to hit him with a bag near Pearl Street at 6:15 pm when one of the louts then pulled out a gun and hit the victim in the arm before fleeing. 

Cops recovered a 9mm shell casing at the scene, according to police reports.

Bike-be-gone

Some crook stole a delivery worker’s electric bicycle on Schermerhorn Street on Feb. 13.

The victim told police that he left his bike locked up to make a delivery near Court Street at around 7:45 pm, but when he returned the $2,000 bicycle was gone.

Subway assault

Cops arrested a 24-year-old man for allegedly assaulting a police officer at the Jay Street MetroTech train station on Feb. 10.

The victim told his fellow officers that the suspect allegedly entered the train station’s emergency exit  with an altered FDNY key to avoid paying the fare near Fulton Street at around 4:45 pm, and when the cop moved to arrest the suspect, he allegedly flailed and stiffened his arms and refused to be cuffed, injuring an officer in the process. 

Paramedics took the officer to Cobble Hill Hospital for treatment, and cops booked the suspect for assaulting a police officer, according to police reports.
