The victim told police that the rogue tried to stab him multiple times between Third and Fourth avenues at 12:35 pm, before grabbing a metal rod and wacking him on the arm.

A sneak thief looted a storage unit on Gold Street between Feb. 19 and March 3.
The victim told police that the filcher snagged jewelry, designer clothes, pictures, and other items from the building between Front and York streets.
Snatched!
A brazen brigand snatched a woman’s wallet on Cadman Plaza West on March 7.
The victim told police that the scoundrel grabbed her wallet near Pierrepont Street at 2:20 pm and ran off.
Perfume prowlers
Looters stole $17,000-worth of perfumes from a Joralemon Street beauty store during separate robberies on March 7 and 8.
Witnesses told police that three marauders bagged more than $7,000 worth of perfumes from the store near Court Street at 7:20 pm, before returning at 12:40 pm the next day and snagging another $10,000-worth of fragrances.
Tech trouble
A group of freebooters stole $16,000 worth of laptops from a Washington Street building on March 3.
The victim told police that one of the malcontents dressed as a FedEx employee and broke a magnetic lock of the building near Front Street at 8 pm, before bagging the computers and fleeing the scene.
