The suspect allegedly defaced the motorcycles’ vehicle identification numbers, and police believe he was replacing parts on the bikes to hide their origins.

Police describe the suspect as a repeat offender who has an arrest record dating to 2007 for robbery, drug possession, altering vehicle identification numbers, and weapons possession.
