Talk about virtual reality!

Popular phone-based multi-player game Clash of Clans came to life in Dumbo last weekend when two statues popped up at Old Fulton Square near Brooklyn Bridge Park, shocking one player who had no idea Brooklynites and other humans are so keen on the game.

“I didn’t realize the game was so popular they’d put up a statue for it,” said Bushwick resident Duncan Goodwin, who has been playing for two years. “It’s an interactive game, and I assume that half of the people you interact with are robots.”

The works of art included a tower nearly as tall as two basketball hoops equipped with phone-powering charging ports and a statue of Pekka, a character in the game that’s part knight, part sumurai, and part robot.

The sculptures, which stood from Aug. 11 to 14, were built to commemorate the retirement of another popular character, the Builder, whose departure from the game was announced earlier this month, according to a spokeswoman.

Some fans struck poses with the statue, but not Goodwin, who said he’s more of an undercover enthusiast.

“I honestly like the game but I’m not going to be the person who is going to say ‘Look at this picture,’ ” he said.
