Christopher usually plays with popular local band Out of the Blue, but Friday night he will be going solo, playing classics of the 1960s and ’70s.

Then the place for you on Valentine’s Day is the Greenhouse Cafe [7717 Third Ave. between 77th and 78th streets], where DJ Suds will be manning the tables. Suds is a veteran crate digger with a 220,000-song catalogue, ranging from ’50s classics to contemporary hits, and he will be taking your requests starting at 10 pm.
On Saturday, bring the one you are head-over-heels for to see Head Over Heels at the Monk [9510 Third Ave. between 95th and 96th streets]. The band will start blasting out its repertoire of everything from Southern rock to today’s hits at 11 pm. Or hit No Quarter [8015 Fifth Ave. between 80th and 81st streets] at 9:30 pm to hear Off the Record play a high-intensity set of everything from Stevie Wonder to Smash Mouth.
You cannot go wrong with the classics, so bring your steady date back to the Greenhouse Cafe on Saturday night to hear a set by everyone’s favorite party band Frankie Marra & His Band.
