Beer-ed up brute

A jerk hit a man with a beer bottle unprovoked at the corner of 71st Street and New Utrecth Ave. on Aug. 12. 

According to police, the attacker threw an unopened can of Heineken at the victim’s chest and pushed his moped to the ground around 4:20 a.m.

The attacker fled down the 71st Street.

Window thief

A thief stole bank cards from a car parked near W. 13th St. on Aug. 6.

Police say the victim parked his car and left his front passenger window open with his wallet on the seat. An unknown swiper then got out of his car and stole the victim’s credit and debit card. 

The victim later noticed unauthorized charges on this credit card. 

Brash altercation 

A pair of assaulters beat up on a man in Bensonhurst on Aug. 8.

The victim told police he was walking along 72nd St when two men walked up to him. One of the men punched him in the stomach and threatened him with a gun. The other man threatened him with a knife and told the victim to give up his wallet and phone. 

The assaulters then ran down 72nd Street headed west.
