Police found a 9-year-old girl dead in her Borough Park home Friday, according to authorities.
Cops responded to a 911 call at 10:30 a.m. on June 5 and arrived at the home 64th Street home to find 9-year-old Lufo Besa lying on her bed unconscious and unresponsive, police said.
EMS arrived at the scene and transported her to Maimonides Hospital, where she was pronounced.
Police said there were no obvious signs of trauma and noted that the Medical Examiner’s Office is working to determine the cause of death. The investigation is ongoing.
