Cops are hunting the slasher who cut a man’s face inside a 64th Street construction site last week, before immediately attempting to loot someone else’s Bay Ridge Avenue home.

The victim told police that the brute used a sharp object to slash him across the face inside the work site near 20th Avenue at 7 a.m. on July 29.

Paramedics rushed the man to Coney Island hospital in stable condition, cops said.

The wacko then decided to burglarize a nearby, but completely unrelated home, and tried to break into the property near 21st Avenue through a side window about 20 minutes following the attack, only to scamper off after failing to gain entrance, according to police.

Anyone who provides police with information leading to an arrest can expect up to a $2,500 reward through the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers program. The public can phone their tips to (800) 577-8477, log into the Crime Stoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com, tweet @NYPDTips, or text tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
