Electric steal

A nogoodnik stole electronics from a Bond Street apartment on Feb. 3.

The thief broke into the woman’s abode between Butler and Douglass streets at some point between 1 pm and 9:30 pm and walked off with three “hoverboards,” a PS4, and a pink HP laptop, she told police, adding that she believed the baddie was someone who had access to her apartment.

Time for detention

A punk nabbed $216 from a woman’s bag inside a public school office on Hoyt Street on Feb. 1.

The victim told authorities that the crook lifted the cash from her bag that was inside an unsecured room at the school between Union and President streets at some point between 2:40 pm and 7:30 pm.

Overnight swipe

A looter lifted cash, tools, and a briefcase from a man’s gray 2017 Jeep Wrangler parked on Van Brunt Street sometime between Jan. 25 and 26, the owner of the vehicle told police on Feb. 2.

The man told police the crook stole the goods from his vehicle he left near Commerce Street, adding that there was no damage to his car.

Package steal

A baddie stole a package from a building on Hoyt Street sometime between Oct. 27 and Nov. 10, the owner told police on Feb. 4.

The woman reported that the lout swiped her property from her front door in the unsecured hallway of her building between Warren and Baltic streets.

Plates purloined

A thief stole license plates off a car on Van Brunt Street at some point between Nov. 16 and Feb. 2, the car owner reported to police on Feb. 5.

The crook stole the plates off of the vehicle at its parking spot between Bowne and Summit streets, according to police.
