Wheel trouble
It wasn’t a great week for parked cars in the 72nd Precinct. Here’s a rundown of the break-ins:
• A security camera and its mount were stolen out of a livery cab parked on Fourth Avenue between 16th Street and Prospect Avenue at noon on July 18. The camera was valued at $600.
• A thief snatched an iPod and a navigation system out of a gray Chrysler around 9:30 am on July 14. The car was parked on 19th Street between Seeley and Vanderbilt streets.
• Electronics were also burgled from a Toyota RAV4 on Prospect Park Southwest between Greenwood Avenue and Reeve Place at around 9 pm on July 14. This time, the crook made off with two iPods, a navigation system and a camera.
