Arts Editor (Full Time)

The Community News Group is seeking an arts editor to cover Brooklyn’s booming arts and entertainment scene. The perfect candidate will have a finger on the pulse of Brooklyn’s nightlife, with a love of food, Broadway-style shows, and red-carpet premiers, using the entire borough as your palette (not just Williamsburg). The ability to find work with a stable of freelancers is a must, and candidates should be have the ability to write and edit stories for daily deadlines that must be met while working in a fun, friendly environment. The Community News Group is seeking a general news reporter to cover specific beats in Brooklyn. Our Courier Life and Brooklyn Papers publications are distributed every week across the borough and updated online every day, and we are seeking an energetic individual whose love of local news is insatiable. Candidates should be intellectually curious, have an ability to file stories quickly and on daily deadlines, and love to report while working in a fun, friendly environment. Camera skills are a big plus. Columnist (Freelance)

The Brooklyn Paper is seeking a columnist to replace legendary screecher Carmine Santa Maria in our coveted Sunday Morning time slot. Columnist should be prepared to write about general interest stories with a Brooklyn angle, preferably local in nature.
