Cops cuff man for alleged carjacking on 78th Street

Violent carjacking

Cops cuffed a man for allegedly hijacking a car on 78th Street on Oct. 19.

The two victims told police that were in the car double parked on the corner of 78th Street and 21st Avenue at 8:45 pm, when the suspect allegedly violently pulled the passengers out of the vehicle and drove off.

Jealous rage

A brute assaulted his wife’s friend on 65th Street on Oct. 15.

The victim told police that he was speaking to an acquaintance by 24th Avenue at 11:15 am when her husband picked up a pipe and hit him with it on his left arm, causing redness and swelling.

The victim was taken to Maimonides Hospital, authorities reported.

Teen robbery

Two 15-year-olds threatened a boy with a knife and took his phone on 16th Avenue on Oct. 18.

The teenage victim told cops that the delinquents approached him between 76th Street and Bay Ridge Parkway at around 3:20 pm, before brandishing a knife and demanding his phone

Tire less

A man said that thieves removed all four tires from his parked car on 83th Street on Oct. 16.

The victim told police that the bandits took all four tires with rims off his car parked between 18th and 19th Avenues at around midnight.
