Cops cuff man for alleged robbery at Smith Street pharmacy

Cops cuffed a man for allegedly stealing $96 worth of cold medicine from a Smith Street pharmacy on Nov. 4.

Employees said that the defendant allegedly left the store near Warren streets at around 2 am with four bottles of advil and 16 nasal sprays without paying.

Cops arrested the suspect, and changed him with petty larceny, authorities reported.

Bad friend

Police arrested a woman for allegedly stealing her friend’s phone on Smith Street on Nov. 2.

The victim told police that he left his house between Third and Fourth streets at 8 am when he realized that he forgot his iPhone 7 at home. When he called it, his friend allegedly picked up and told him that he wasn’t getting his phone back.

Cops who said that police arrested the suspect later that day, and charged her with larceny.

Clean getaway

A thief swiped $91 worth of soap from Smith Street pharmacy on Nov. 2.

An employee told police that the burglar entered the store between Union and President streets at 3:50 pm and grabbed two bottles of body wash and nine bottles of shampoo, before running out of the store.

Motorcycle bandit

A prowler stole a $1400 motorcycle parked on Baltic Street on Oct. 31.

The victim told cops that the thief rode off on his motorcycle, parked between Clinton and Henry streets, sometime between 12:30 am and 8:20 am.
