Police cuffed a man they suspect of trying to steal a pricey laptop, while armed with knives, from the Fort Greene Apple Store on Flatbush Avenue on May 7.

The man walked into the store and walked over to the display table before allegedly ripping the security wire from the computer at the corner of Ashland Place just after 11:30 a.m., which caused the store alarm to go off, according to authorities.

When the suspect tried to walk out the front door, security pummeled the man to the floor and smashed the laptop in the process, cops said.

The guard brought the man to the security room of the store, where the suspect allegedly lifted his shirt showing off two knives in a menacing manner, according to law enforcement sources.

Two security guards subdued the man until cops showed up and arrested him some 20 minutes later, police said.
