Police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead in East Flatbush Thursday night.
Cops received a call regarding an assault on East 28th Street between Cortelyou and Clarendon roads just before 9 p.m. on Sept. 5 and upon arriving at the scene, officers found a 33-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head.
The man was transported to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to authorities. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending family notification, cops said.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
