76th Precinct

Carroll Gardens-Cobble Hill–Red Hook

Teen angst

A 16-year-old was arrested for threatening a woman with a knife and slashing furniture inside her Columbia Street apartment on April 8.

The victim told police that she was inside her apartment between Center Mall and Bush Street at 2 pm when the teenager brandished a knife and began waving it in a threatening manner.

“I don’t give a f—-,” he yelled, before going on a furniture-slashing rampage, according to cops.

Laptop loot

Cops arrested a 20-year-old man for stealing a laptop from a Wolcott Street deli on May 1.

Police say footage from a surveillance camera inside the sandwich shop near Richards Street showed the suspect and another man taking a black bag that contained the pricey laptop at 11 pm.

Strong opinion

A 44-year-old man was arrested for beating another man on Columbia Street on May 1.

The victim told police that he was between Huntington and W. Ninth streets at 4:05 pm when he was approached by the suspect.

“Give me $300. I’ll kill you. I just did 17 years and I don’t care if I go back. You’re a f—— Jew and all you Jews are the same,” the suspect told the victim, before punching him in the face, cops said.
