A pair of burglars stole a bunch of gadgets from a Fort Greene apartment on Sept. 14, then, apparently having difficulty carrying them, broke into a second pad on the same block and grabbed a wheeled suitcase to cart them off, police reported.

The thieves struck both residences within 20 minutes, sometime between 10:00 pm and 10:21 pm, according to a police account.

They entered the first abode on Fort Greene Place between Hanson Place and Lafayette Avenue through an unlocked back window and removed a laptop computer, a desktop computer, and an electronic tablet, officers said.

The duo then moved on to the building next door, entered a second apartment, also through an unlocked back window, and hauled away an empty suitcase, cops said.

The prowlers, both believed to be in their teens or early 20s, were caught on surveillance video rolling the electronics-laden luggage down the street, law enforcement officials said.

The NYPD asks those with information about the incidents to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577–8477, go to www.nypdc‌rimes‌toppe‌rs.com, or text-message tips to 274637 and enter “TIP577.”
