Cops search for 2 brutes in Flatlands assault

Police are searching for two men in connection with a violent assault in Flatlands on Jan. 22. 

According to the NYPD, three people, including the two suspects, approached the 43-year-old male at a gas station located at 3827 Kings Highway at around 5:30 a.m., before getting into a heated argument with the victim. 

After things escalated, one of the suspects hit the man in the head with an unknown object, while the other removed his own belt and then struck the victim with it. 

Paramedics arrived on the scene and took the victim to Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital for treatment of injuries he had sustained to his right hand and head. 

Police described the suspects as having a light complexion.
