Police are asking for the public’s help identifying the male and female suspects they say stole cell phones from a Midwood store on Dec. 19.
Authorities say the duo stole three phones from the E. 16th Street shop near Kings Highway at 3:35 pm. The male suspect was wearing a gray sweatshirt and tan pants and his female companion was wearing a red jacket.
Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577–8477. The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577.
