Cops want to question man over Boerum Hill basketball-court shooting

Cops are on the lookout for a man they believe may have information about a Boerum Hill shooting earlier this month that put three men in hospital, according to a report.

Police are hoping to speak with a 24-year-old man about an incident of gunplay at a basketball court on Baltic Street between Hoyt and Bond streets at 5:51 pm on June 10, which left a 25-year-old with a gunshot wound to his leg, a 19-year-old with a bullet to his torso, and a 28-year-old shot in the ankle, a report said.

The three victims made it to local hospitals in stable condition and are all expected to live, officials said.

Cops described the man they’re looking for as 5-foot-5 and 185 pounds.

Law enforcement officials ask people with information about the incident or with knowledge of the man’s whereabouts to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577–8477. The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577.
