Sunset swiper

Two crooks robbed a woman on Fourth Avenue on June 30.

The victim told police that she was near 53rd Street, when the bad guys grabbed her and stole her purse at 3 a.m. The two bandits made off toward 54th Street with $630 worth of ill-gotten goods, cops said.

Brutal robbery

Two bruisers savagely robbed a man on 48th Street on June 26.

The victim told police that he was walking between Fourth and Fifth avenues, when the ruffians approached at around 2:30 a.m. and began repeatedly hitting the victim. Once the 22-year-old victim fell to the ground, the perps stole his wallet and his cellphone, cops said.

Cuffed

Police arrested a suspect for allegedly robbing a man on Second Avenue on June 27.

The victim told police the suspect waltzed up to him near 59th Street and punched him in the face at around midnight. The suspect then reportedly reached into the victim’s pocket and stole his wallet, cops said.

First responders arrived on scene and took the victim to NYU Langone Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Police tracked down the suspect and arrested him on June 29 on felony grand larceny charges, according to police.

Sunset scammer

A con artist scammed a Sixth Avenue woman out of $40,000 on June 25.

The victim told police that she was contacted by an unknown phone number, who claimed to represent the social security office. The swindler told the victim that she was under investigation and needed to send the money — via an online virtual currency — in order to keep it safe during the “investigation.” The victim, who resides between 49th and 50th streets, sent the funds at around 9 a.m., before catching on to the scam, cops said.

Tire slasher

A malefactor slashed a man’s car tires on Third Avenue on June 27.

The victim told police that he double parked his vehicle near the intersection of 32nd Street at 6 a.m., before entering a nearby store. While he was in the store for several minutes, the villain slashed both rear tires and keyed the driver side of the car, cops said.

Mail thief

A thief stole several packages from an Ocean Parkway apartment building on June 27.

Building personnel told police than an unknown baddie entered the lobby of the building between Caton Place and Kermit Place, before stealing approximately $1,318 worth of yet-to-be-delivered packages at 4 p.m., cops said.
