They bit the hand that bled them.
Police are investigating a possible dog-fighting ring after a pack of pit bulls turned on their owner in his Flatbush Avenue home on May 11.
Emergency responders found the 35-year-old victim with serious but not life-threatening injuries at his apartment at E. 34th Street around 8 am and took him to Kings County Hospital, police said.
Law enforcement officials removed seven pit bulls from the apartment and handed them over to Animal Care and Control.
The dogs had open wounds and scars that indicate abuse, photos show.
Police have not issued criminal charges “yet,” a department spokesman said.
