A four-alarm inferno sent six Flatbush residents, including two children, to the hospital, and left their Glenwood Road home a smoldering ruin on Sept. 3.

Firefighters rushed to quench the blaze between Argyle and Rugby roads at 4:42 am, and 168 members of New York’s Bravest were ultimately dispatched before the fire was quelled shortly after 7 am.

Residents of the ruined home were able to make their own way outside to safety, and the victims, who were sent to Methodist and Brooklyn hospitals, suffered only minor wounds from their ordeal, according to a fire department spokesman.

The cause of the blaze remains unknown, and the investigation is ongoing, according the spokesperson.
