Knife-wielding weasels

Two brigands robbed a man at knife-point on Third Avenue Sept. 8.

The victim told police when one pillager stuck a knife to his throat near 55th Street at 8 p.m., while the other rummaged through his pockets and nabbed $100.

Domestic dirtbag

Some loser assaulted the mother of his children at a Fifth Avenue laundromat on Sept. 8.

The victim told police that she was folding clothes when the slimeball entered the cleaner near 61st street at around 6 p.m., before pushing her to the floor and threatening to kill her.

Jewelry heist

A jewel thief stole a chain from around a man’s neck on Fourth Avenue on Sept. 6.

The victim told police that he was walking out of the subway station at 59th Street when the bandit grabbed the chain and ran into the train station.

Texting extortion

Police arrested a woman for allegedly attempting to extort her ex-boyfriend and his family who reside on 20th Street on Sept. 2.

The victim, who lives between Sixth and Seventh avenues, told police that the suspect allegedly demanded $2,000 by threatening him and his children over the course of several messages between 11:30 a.m. and midnight.

Police arrested the woman early the following day on felony charges of grand larceny by extortion, according to police reports.

Motorcycle theft

A thief stole a motorcycle that was parked on Prospect Avenue on Sept. 2.

The victim told police that he left the motor bike between Ocean Parkway and Greenwood Avenue at around 2 p.m., but it was missing when he returned shortly after midnight.

Check fraud

A scammer cashed a fraudulent check that they stole from a 44th Street mailbox on Aug. 12.

The victim told police that he put the $50 check in the box on the corner of Fourth Avenue at around 2 p.m., and his bank notified him on Aug. 26 that the scammer had cashed the ill-gotten check for $5,500.
