Gun-wielding thieves stole a phone and Chinese currency from a man in a failed transaction made on W. Seventh Street on April 13. 

The victim told police that he was supposed to trade his currency with the bandits at the corner of Avenue V around 6:55 pm, but they instead threatened him with a firearm and robbed him.

Lotto loon

A bandit swiped more $1,890 worth of lottery tickets from an 86th Street convenience store on April 13. 

The victim told police that the lawbreaker entered the store at the intersection of Avenue X at around 6:30 am, before grabbing the stolen goods and running off undetected.

Storage wars

Pillagers broke into about 150 individual storage units at a Knapp Street facility on April 13. 

An employee told police that the crooks entered the building at the corner of Voorhies Avenue around 7 pm, before stealing property and running off.
