Sneaker fiends

Two reprobates forced a man to buy sneakers for them on Court Street on June 19.

The victim told police that one of the louts was selling candy and approached him near Dean Street, only to lift his shirt and reveal he had a gun at 4 p.m.

The crook led the victim to a nearby bank at Livingston Street where an accomplice met the guys and the two baddies made the victim withdraw $800 in cash from his account, according to police.

They then brought him to a Fulton Street shoe store and forced him to buy two pairs of footwear, according to cops.

Knockout!

A brute knocked a man out and fleeced him on Lawrence Street on June 19.

The victim told police that the nogoodnik whacked him from behind, causing him to hit his head on the ground and loose consciousness near the corner of Fulton Street at 6:50 p.m.

The bandit went through the victim’s pockets and grabbed $460 in cash before making a run for it, police said.

Bike bandit

A sneak stole a man’s bike on Court Street on June 21.

The victim told police that she locked her two-wheeler up at Joralemon Street at 9 a.m. only to find it stolen three hours later, cops said.

Two for two

A thief stole a man’s tandem bike on Jay Street on June 4.

The victim told cops that he left his two-person bike locked on a bike rack between Water and Front streets around 8 a.m., and that he returned an hour later to find it had vanished.

Cold case

Some bandit stole an entire air-conditioning unit from a Fulton Street roof sometime between April 15 and June 17.

The victim told police he was supposed to do maintenance on the $10,000 cooler when he noticed that someone had taken it between Bridge and Lawrence streets at 2 p.m.

He also told authorities that he hasn’t seen the unit since its last maintenance on April 15.

Cops arrested a man they suspect of stealing a delivery worker’s e-bike on Willoughby Street on June 22.

The victim told police he was making a delivery at the corner of Jay Street and when he came back out of the building he saw the suspect taking off on his electric-powered ride at 3:20 p.m.

He chased after the man who tried to flee into a parking garage at MetroTech Center, before he escaped through another exit.

Cops caught up with the suspect at the corner of Sands and Gold streets at 6:55 p.m. and slapped him with felony larceny charges.
